Course Description
 

Ma144 is the introductory course in probability theory.

Topics to be covered first term will include: overview of measure theory, random walks and the strong law of large numbers, characteristic functions and the central limit theorem, the theory of martingales.

 

Policies
 

The grade for this course will be based on homework assignments. There will be no exams.
 

No late homework will be accepted. Although collaboration is allowed, solutions should be written individually. All references should be cited, including the collaborators.
